Retum lnstructions

  1. Initiating a Return:

o Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery for both domestic and 

international orders.

o To start the process, please contact our customer support team at [insert email address] to receive the return address and further instructions.

  1. Package Requirements:

o Include your order number or full name on a note inside the return package.

o For international returns, ensure customs forms are labelled as:

“RETURNED GOODS – ZERO COMMERCIAL VALUE”. Any customs duties

billed to Étoile & Co. will be deducted from your refund.

o Items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

  1. Shipping Costs for Returns:

o If the return is due to a manufacturing defect or quality issue, Étoile & Co. will cover the return shipping cost.

o For returns initiated due to personal reasons (e.g., changing your mind) for nopened and unused items, customers are responsible for the return shipping cost.

o Refunds do not include the original shipping cost paid.

  1. Return Processing Time:

o Refunds or exchanges will be processed within 14 business days after receiving your returned package. During busy periods, this may take up to 30 days.

  1. Defective Items

All our jewelry is meticulously handcrafted and inspected before shipping. In the rare event of a defective item, we offer free returns or exchanges. However, you must retain evidence (e.g., photographs or videos) taken upon unboxing to demonstrate that the defect was not caused after opening the package. Any damage caused by mishandling after delivery will not qualify for a return or refund.

  1. Free Gifts

Complimentary gifts included with your purchase are non-returnable and non-refundable.

o If a return causes your order total to fall below the promotional threshold, you may either:

Pay the full retail value of the complimentary gift to retain it, or

Return the gift in its unopened condition along with your original order.

o If you choose to exchange a defective item and keep the free gift, we will process your exchange upon receiving the returned item and send you a replacement.

  1. Customized Items

ny custom jewelry (e.g., personalized engravings or bespoke designs) is non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless there is a manufacturing defect.

  1. Condition of Returned Items

To qualify for a refund or exchange:

o Items must be returned in their original condition, completely unworn, unopened,

and free of any scratches, dents, or other signs of wear, and must remain in their original individual packaging.

o This is particularly important for gold plating and pearl surfaces.

o All original packaging (including jewelry boxes, pouches, certificates, and warranty cards) must be included.

  1. International Returns (Non-Canadian)

For international returns outside of Canada:

o Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees incurred unless the return is due to a quality issue.

o Please ensure customs forms are labelled as:

“RETURNED GOODS – ZERO COMMERCIAL VALUE”. Failure to do so may

result in customs duties being billed to Étoile & Co., which will be deducted from your refund.
